Courtney Jackson-Garcia, graduated with her degree in dance from the Ailey/Fordham BFA program as a part of its inaugural class.  After injuries sidelined a brief professional performing career she attended the post-baccalaureate premedical program at Columbia University, School of General Studies.  Combining her love of science and movement, she acquired a full Pilates certification and has had the opportunity to work for several large fitness brands not only as an instructor but in roles that gave her experience with sales, marketing, and operations.  She currently works for Equinox fitness clubs as the Regional Operations Director, overseeing their 30 private Pilates studios.  She also volunteers her time as the head officer of the organizations Women’s Alliance, Employee Resource Group.  She enjoys having the opportunity to develop programming, organize events and continually work to improve the experience for women across her organization.  

Courtney also holds a M.S. in business management from Fordham University, Gabelli School of Business.  But the most important role she holds is “mom” to her two curious and creative daughters.
